A Safe, Purpose-Built Respite Home for Children in Annacotty.
We are building a new children’s respite home in Annacotty, Co. Limerick.
A safe, purpose-built space where children with complex needs can stay overnight,mid-week and for weekends, open 24/7, giving their families vital rest and recovery time.
This home will provide:
-
High-quality overnight respite care
-
Warm, accessible, homelike surroundings
-
Expert staff trained in specialised care
-
A break for families who urgently need support
- Increase bed capacity from 842 to 2,172 bed nights
Why Build This Now?
Families in the Limerick region are under extreme pressure. The current respite facilities are:
-
Outdated
-

That’s not good enough—for the children or their carers.
The new Respite Home will serve dozens of families currently without access to proper respite care.

Shared kitchen and family-style dining area
