Help Us Open the Door to Respite for More Children

We’re building a new respite home to increase capacity from 842 to 2,142 bednights a year.
€2.1 million needed. Every donation brings us closer.

Why This Matters

The Reality: Why We Must Act Now

  • Overcrowded & Inadequate Facilities – The current house, built in 2006, does not have enough space, sensory areas, or private spaces for children with complex needs.

  • A Two-Year Waiting List – Families are left struggling without support, leading to exhaustion, burnout, and crisis situations.

  • Safety Concerns in Urban Setting – The current location in Limerick City poses logistical challenges and safety risks during drop-offs and collections.

We must provide a better solution for these children and their families.

What We're Building

With your support, we will create a new, state-of-the-art respite house designed with the specific needs of these children in mind. This will be more than just a building—it will be a home from home, providing care, comfort, and security.

Essential Relief for Families

More frequent and reliable respite care will provide vital breaks for exhausted families, helping preserve their well-being and stability.
